Contact Rachel's
Friends and Get Involved
Rachel's Friends Breast Cancer Coalition is a non-profit advocacy group
that works to prevent breast cancer by exposing environmental causes.
Here are some ideas for getting involved in the fight to end breast
cancer:
- Advocacy:
Monitor local, state, and national legislation and polluters.
Research pesticides in parks and schools. Write letters to newspaper
editors. Recommend topics for e-mail action alerts.
- Programs:
Help organize and publicize our educational events held two or three
times per year.
-
Newsletter:
Gather information on pending legislation, research on environmental
links to cancer, and local events that encourage a toxic-free
environment. Write short book reviews.
